Ok, the things i'm putting up here are for people who are in the "Exploratory Phase". When I say that I mean people who are a bit past the "Interest Phase" where they're just wondering what this stuff is. But here are the basics for those who don't know absolutely anything.

Wicca/Paganism is an Earth religion. It has nothing to do with Satanism or devilry or anything "evil". Actually, Pagans don't really believe in "the devil" or Satan, because that is a part of the Christian religion. Nor is there any "Black Magick" or "White Magick" (By the way, magick is spelt with a k at the end because some people like to use it to distinguish the difference between the "sleight of hand" and real magick). The magick Pagans or other Goddess and Earth religions use is actually like a universal energy. The way they use it, is their decision. The thing to keep in mind here is the three-fold law, where basically anything you send out, comes back to you tree-fold, getting to basically, the Pagan/Wiccan motto:

An it harm none, do as ye will.

 But, usually, magick where you control or abuse the will power of another (i.e. Forcing someone to love you with a spell when they really just like you as a friend, or in some cases, less) is considered bad magick. Usually, people just use spells to help with problems like maybe helping a loved one to heal, or maybe a job promotion, but NO CONTROLING people's will. That's just mean.
